The Name
When you choose to work with BIG Construction, what comes with the name? Adam Binker is continuing a legacy of innovation and ideas that all began with his grandfather, Sanford Leeland “Snap” Binker. Snap was one of the minds behind the “Binker Barns.” In 1973, Architectural Record writes, “this ingenious vacation house has been built well over a dozen times at the Sea Ranch in California. The basic notion is simplicity itself: a barn-like space with a plan that can be flipped and with an apprehended lean-to whose function is variable. The working out of the notion, though, assures that simplicity does not lead to dullness.” The passion for developing these living spaces continued with Adam’s father, Steve Binker, who worked as a contractor and eventually settled into starting his own appraisal business for over thirty years. Inheriting innovation from Snap and evaluative skills from Steve, Adam strives to replicate these ideals in his own work and intends on leaving an imprint of connection of his own.

In over twenty years of experience, Adam Binker has learned that this work with you is more than a transaction. There is tremendous value in establishing trust during these projects, and Adam believes the investment comes from both sides, not just yours. These connections grow beyond budgets and deadlines. In this growing world of automation, Adam knows and values the importance of meeting in person.
His wife and three young sons love to stop by the job site from time to time and bring by lunch for the team. They also love to see their Dad at work in hopes of joining in on some of the demolition.
About Us
The Team
It takes a long time to build a trustworthy and competent team. There has to be respect for your home: your pets, your children, your possessions, your space. Adam is honored and grateful to have these members he can rely on. They also like to have a lot of fun, so grab some popcorn for the following bios.
TODD
Todd has been working with Adam the longest of the group, serving as his carpenter. Adam can vouch that he is good at just about everything. He is serious about holiday decoration, especially Halloween. He was an Army Ranger and received a Purple Heart.
BOB
Also known as “The Finisher,” Bob is a perfectionist, he’s particular and dependable. He’s quiet, but it's because he's laser focused and in the zone making perfect. He's also the custom cabinet and vanity maker which is where his true love lies.
JORGE
He is the demolition leader. He works around the clock and is the first one to wake and ask, "where today?" Jorge is the kind of guy who will bring back lunch for all. He is there to help everyone and has an inspiring work ethic.
Tile Todd
Our tile master. Adam was getting stretched thin on working with tile, and he feels lucky to have found someone who can get the job done.
Kacie
She keeps me social, within budget and relevant.
BELLA the office dog
She’s the laziest, sleepiest office dog, but we love her. Sometimes she rolls over.
